BSA Troop 747 is 100% boy-led. This means that for every meeting, campout, merit badge, or hiking trip we participate in, it originated, was planned out, and then often led by the boy members of the troop. This is the Scouting way! As adult leaders, it is our goal within this context to provide a safe, nurturing environment where these boys can take risks, try new things, and find adventure, fun, and friendships, all while building their own confidence and future life skills.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, our troop is comprised of boys and families from all over Middle Tennessee. We meet weekly, and camp or hike monthly. For a sample, check out our recent happenings.
